ICS Galaxy Nexus November Launch on NTT DoCoMo Confirmed By Tweet

As most of the Android faithful will be aware, Google and Samsung is holding an event in Hong Kong in a few hours time, and it is expected that Google and Samsung will unveil the Android Ice Cream Sandwich packing Samsung Galaxy Nexus, also know as the Samsung Nexus Prime.

According to the guys over at Slash Gear, a tweet from @docomo confirmed that NTT DoCoMo will be “among the first” to release the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone sometime in November.

So if NTT DoCoMo is releasing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November, then obviously the newest Android smartphone will be unveiled at the Google/Samsung event in Hong Kong, which was previously postponed.

Other than that, the tweet doesn’t deliver anything else to do with the Galaxy Nexus so no specs were confirmed, so for now we still have to go by the previously rumoured specs of a 1.5GHz dual core processor, NFC, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD touch screen, and 8 megapixel camera with HD video.

The guys do say that NTT DoCoMo does have a 4G LTE network, so there might be a possibility that the Samsung Nexus Prime/Galaxy Nexus may come out to play with 4G LTE connectivity, and there have been rumours the smartphone just might be a world phone.

But all this is pure rumour at the moment, but with that event kicking off in Hong Kong shortly, no doubt the mobile space will be rife with all the specs and details as soon as they become available, and of course as soon as we know we will pass it on.
