Official Samsung Galaxy Nexus Specs, Android (4.0 ): Hot News

It is now official and releasing in November, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus specs are now in and it includes the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, as well as a large 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display.

The wait is over, we have been here since 7am this morning and now it is 02:52am in the UK, we promised we would be here to announce the official specs of the smarphone and so we are. We are actually drooling right about now over the Galaxy Nexus handset, it is NOT the Nexus Prime like we all thought it might be, bit who cares the phone looks stunning.

Main Specifications Include: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED Screen with 720p resolution, Redesigned UI in Android 4.0, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Improved multi-tasking / Wi-Fi hotspot / full web browsing / notifications / NF support, Software Navigation buttons (New Feature), People App with Google+ Integration, Redesigned camera with panorama mode, silly faces and background replacement, 1080p video, zero-shutter lag, Android Beam uses NFC, Bump phones to share, redesigned Google+ app, 8.94mm thick, 4.29mm bezel, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity and much more.

This Android smartphone also comes featuring “Face Unlock”, the phone scans your face to unlock it, and this handset will be available in USA, Europe, and Asia beginning in November and then rolled out globally.

The Galaxy Nexus has a 5-megapixel rear camera (with LED flash), a 1.3 megapixel front-facing cam, 1080p30 video recording and playback.

Also features 3.5mm headphone jack, barometer, accelerometer, compass, gyro, proximity sensor, USB 2.0, 1GB of RAM, HSPA+ model on tap, while an LTE version will “be available depending on region, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, embedded NFC module, 16 or 32GB of internal storage space, 1,750mAh battery and much more.

    Still prefer my sgs2 to the nexus. Just waiting on ICS amd it will feel better even though I’m happy with my device ICS will be “icing on the cake” pardon the pun lol
