Sprint HTC EVO Design 4G, release date and prices

The HTC EVO Design 4G that was mentioned a few months ago has decided to go into the “It is real” corner and we have the release date and prices for you. Sprint now wishes to tell all about this phone with a nice photo to go with it; this is an Android Gingerbread smartphone that may tick your box.

The new smartphone from HTC on Sprint’s network will be released October 23rd, for only $99.99 (excluding taxes), this price applies with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade and after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card1.

HTC EVO Design 4G main features include: 4-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, WiMAX-capable device with GSM roaming, 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU, 5MP rear camera with HD video recording hopefully at 720p, HTC Sense UI, Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and 1.3MP front-facing camera.

The body casing is made of aluminum and 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot allows customers to get support for up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices on the Sprint 3G or 4G networks.

If you wish to own the HTC EVO Design 4G, customers will have to pay the $99.99 (excluding taxes) for the smartphone, as well as activating one of Sprint’s “Sprint Everything Data” plans plus a required $10 Premium Data add-on charge for smartphones.
