Atari Greatest Hit for Android now available for retro gaming

The iOS gaming faithful have been able to get their retro gaming fix via the Atari Greatest Hits app for iOS for a while now, and now Android gamers can do so as well, as the Atari Greatest Hits app for Android is now available to download from the Android Market.

According to the guys over at Phone Arena the iOS version of the app costs $14.99 however the Android version of Atari Greatest Hits is a free download whereby the user gains access to Missile Commands for free as well.

Atari Greatest Hit for Android now available for retro gaming for Android delivers 100 retro games in the application, which have been separated into 25 gaming packs with each pack including 4 games at a cost of just $0.99, or if you are a dedicated fan of Atari games you can purchase the entire collection for $9.99 in one shot.

The Atari Greatest Hit app is compatible with Android smartphones and tablets and enables both single and local multiplayer modes, although it does say multiplayer is “coming soon.”

The separate game packs for Atari Greatest Hit for Android include Asteroids Pack — Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Asteroids 2600, and Canyon Bomber MP — Battlezone Pack — Battlezone, Red Baron, Air-Sea Battle MP, and Submarine Commander — Centipede Pack — Centipede, Millipede, Centipede 2600, and Millipede 2600.
