B&N Nook Tablet Handled on video

You may be aware that Barnes and Noble has now unveiled the new Nook tablet the new Android 2.3 Gingerbread slate, and if you are thinking about whether to snap up the Nook tablet over rival slate the Amazon Kindle Fire, perhaps a hands-on video with the Nook tablet will sway your decision one way or the other.

Thus that is what we have for your viewing pleasure below, a hands-on with the Nook tablet courtesy of the guys over at Mashable, which delivers almost four minutes of checking out what the B&N Android slate has to offer potential customers.

My colleague Mark has already posted an article with the specs and pricing of the Barnes and Noble Nook tablet, with the slate commanding a price tag of $249.99, which is 50 bucks more than the Amazon Kindle Fire, so if price is a factor then maybe the Nook isn’t for you.

As for those specs, the B&N Nook tablet packs a 7-inch display, 16GB storage with microSD expansion, 1GHz dual core processor, built-in microphone, the ability to play HD videos, is apparently the lightest and fastest tablet in the 7-inch category, weighs in at 14.1 ounces, 1GB RAM, and full access to the Android Market.

But you don’t want me to continue as I’m sure all you really want to do is head on down and hit that play button to check out the new Android packing Nook tablet from Barnes and Noble, so I’ll leave it right there and let you get to it.

We would of course love to know if the Barnes and Noble Nook tablet has captured your interest and if you intend to purchase the device so feel free to share your opinions to our comments area below…enjoy the video.
