Samsung Double Time for AT&T handled on video

Not everyone can afford a high-end smartphone and if you are in the market for an Android handset for your teenager, or perhaps for that Christmas present this year, the Samsung Double Time might suit your needs, and to see if it does we have a hands-on video for your viewing consideration below.

The Samsung Double Time hands-on video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Technobuffalo, and delivers two-minutes of getting up close with the new Android handset for AT&T which comes out to play pacing two displays.

Let’s kick off with what the Samsung Double Time offers the user spec wise, a 3.2-inch main touch screen, secondary internal touch screen. 800MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.2 megapixel camera, Android 2.2 Froyo operating system (a bit archaic but there you go), 260Mb onboard memory, Bluetooth and microSD expansion up to 32GB and QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Double Time is a clamshell form factor and is targeted towards the texting teenager, and the guys say the device is a deal for the teen breaking into with world of texting smartphones and although somewhat lighter on specs due to it being an entry level device the handset is pretty capable.

Anyway I’ll leave it right there as not to spoil your viewing of the video, so head on down and mash that play button to check out the hands-on footage with the Samsung Double Time, and feel free to let us know if the Android handset will be on your gift list this Christmas by dropping us a line to our comments area below…enjoy.
