HTC Zeta packing ICS & 2.5GHz quad-core mystery phone

The HTC Zeta mystery phone on paper is more intriguing than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, this one if true and of course this is where we get that pinch of salt could be very interesting to say the least.

Engadget has a lovely photo (See below) of the new HTC smartphone codenamed the Zeta, this mystery handset comes packing “Apparently” quad-core 2.5GHz APQ8064 CPU, and a nice sized 4.5-inch 720p HD display.

It apparently has 1GB of RAM and will come running the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 operating system that comes as standard on the Nexus, also better than the Nexus is the standard 1,830mAh battery.

Other Features Include: Sense UI, 1080p video capture, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio, 32GB of internal storage space, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, is said to weigh 146 grams and is only 109.8 x 60.9 x 9.8mm in size.

We will keep a very close eye on the HTC Zeta, just like Engadget we will start a little digging process to find out if this will stay a mystery phone or indeed if it is true.

Is the HTC Zeta real or just a concept phone?
