Nokia Lumia 800 available today: UK Loving

For those Nokia faithful here in the United Kingdom who have been patiently waiting for the new Nokia Windows Phone to come out to play, you may like to know that the Nokia Lumia 800 in black is now available to purchase from Vodafone UK, and as of today you can pre-order the cyan Lumia 800.

Apparently Vodafone is doing a deal with the Nokia Lumia 800 whereby the first 10,000 customers to purchase the new Nokia Windows Phone will receive 60 quid’s worth of vouchers which they can use over the course of the first 6-months.

With the £60 vouchers customers can purchase such things as music from Zune, coffee from Starbucks, a case for their new Nokia Lumia 800 or even put them towards any purchase from Amazon UK.

The black Nokia Lumia 800 is available as of today from Vodafone as a free smartphone when signing up for a two-year agreement on a £36 tariff that delivers 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB of data and 1GB of BT Openzone WiFi access.

New and upgrading customers will also benefit from Vodafone Data Test Drive that allows the user to use as much data as they wish for whatever they like for 3-months enabling them to fully explore what the Nokia Lumia 800 has to offer.

The Nokia Lumia 800 offers a 1.4Ghz processor, Windows Phone Mango operating system, 3.7-inch ClearBlack AMOLED curved touch screen, 16GB onboard storage, f/2.2 Carl Zeiss lens, rear camera but not to sure on megapixel, it will also come with many mobile apps such as ESPN Sports hub, turn-by-turn voice navigation via Nokia Drive and Nokia Music, Zune, Xbox Live and SkyDrive online storage.

So there you go, you can now pick up the Nokia Lumia 800 from Vodafone UK, will you be picking up the Lumia 800 from Vodafone or will you opt to go with another carrier?
