New Prada Phone by LG 3.0 for 2012

As we draw towards the end of 2011, it’s fair to say that this year has seen a massive influx of phone and tablet devices, but what will 2012 bring us in relation to new products? One mobile phone handset rumored to be making an entrance is that of a new “Prada 3.0” phone by LG, already reported on by ourselves back in August, but under the name of the “K2.”

With a partnership between LG and Prada already combined, we do have some details to give you, although at this stage they are a little sparse. Taking over from the original LG Prada phones, the first being in 2007, which as ubergizmo.com commented, impressed a mass of consumers, the new Prada is expected to release with the inclusion of Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS in tow.

Capacitive buttons on the display are rumored to now go with a release within the first quarter of next year. Many would say that although LG have released smartphones such as the Optimus 3D and Black this year, they have struggled to keep up with rival competition from Samsung with devices such as the Galaxy S II, HTC’s Sensation or even Motorola’s new range such as the Droid Bionic or even its new RAZR.

As we find out further details, we will of course update you further. For now let us know your thoughts towards LG’s Prada 3.0 phone plans? What will the company in your eyes, have to include to have any chance of fighting off stiff rivalry?
