If you are in the market for a docking station for your Apple iPad, or even if you are keeping an eye out for that Christmas gift for that special person that owns an iOS tablet, and want something a little unique, there’s a new Apple iPad accessory available called the Apple iStation for iPad that might suit your needs.

The iStation features a fully functional take out keyboard, whilst featuring a wood grain housing to give it a retro styling with white keyboard, or in a white Pearl Glossy finish with black keyboard, and according to the guys over at Slash Gear connects to your Apple iPad and the wireless keyboard via Bluetooth.

Apparently the iStation works with the original iPad and the Apple iPad 2 as well as the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S and works with the latest iOS software apparently. The iStation also has special function keys for volume, music, slideshow, home, search and such.
