Remaining at loggerheads in the courts, Samsung struck back at Apple in the mobile tech banning game by requesting the court ban on the sale of the iPhone 4S in France; however it appears that in this particular case old Sammy is on a losing side, as word is the French court has denied Samsung’s iPhone 4S ban request.

According to the guys over at Pocket Now by way of Reuters, the denial by the French court means that Apple can continue to offer the latest iOS smartphone on French soil although Samsung has requested the same ban on the iPhone 4S in Australia, Japan and Italy.

Apple and Samsung are at each other’s throats in legal battles in ten countries taking in thirty legal battles, one of which Samsung just won in Australia by getting a preliminary injunction on banning their Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 lifted and also won when Apple appeals the decision.

Apparently Samsung has said they will view the written ground of the French courts decision and will continue to look at all available options to protect their intellectual property rights.

Thus it looks like Apple has won this round after losing two rounds in Australia, but it is fairly obvious these two will continue to battle it out in the legal fiend rather than come to some kind of mutual agreement to settle all these legal shenanigans once and for all.
