Verizon Galaxy Nexus, have you opted for it?

At last, US consumers can now breathe a sigh of relief that the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus is officially available on carrier Verizon. After waiting weeks for the new Android device to eventually surface, we wanted to know your first impressions of the phone? More than pleased, disappointed and so on.

Those of you still toying with the idea of buying a new smartphone and whether the Galaxy Nexus is actually for you, then take the time to look at its new specs. For instance, the Samsung is the first to come with Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich OS, other manufacturers will at some time have their smartphones upgraded to the ICS OS, but as to when it will happen is anybody’s guess. The Galaxy Nexus also benefits from Verizon’s 4G LTE network allowing impressive fast speeds.

On top of this, you’re enjoy the 4.65-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 5 megapixel rear camera, although to some this may be the smartphone’s downfall.

Just before we go we wanted to tell you courtesy of Pocketlint that Adobe have now updated their Flash Player 11, benefiting users with compatibility for the latest ICS OS. As well as this, with the new Galaxy Nexus now officially here on carrier Verizon, the device is already getting it’s first OTA update “ICL53F,” with improvements to the 3G/4G connection, mobile hotspot and connection via Wi-Fi. According to techcrunch.com, the lock screen will also benefit from improvements.
