Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II for Tegra 3 mobile devices

If you are one of the Android faithful that loves playing nostalgic mobile games especially that speedy blue hedgehog known as Sonic, you’ll probably know that the Android gamer missed out on some Sonic love with Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, however when it comes to the next instalment of the mobile game, Android will get that love.

According to an article over on Mobile Mag, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 for Android will be released sometime in 2012; however the new episode will be available to Tegra 3 sporting devices to enable Android gamers to take advantage of the “improved architecture” of the Tegra 3 chip.

As it stands as we go into 2012 the only Tegra 3 touting device on Android is of course the Asus Transformer Prime tablet, although no doubt more Tegra 3 sporting devices will surface during CES 2012 and throughout the year.

One would also hope that a less graphically intense version of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 would be made available to those Android faithful that don’t have a Tegra 3 device at some point in the future, and obviously a version will become available for the iOS platform at some point.

But for those Android gamers out there that may have or are getting a Tegra 3 Android device this year and would love to play Sonic, we have the official Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 announcement trailer for your viewing consideration below…enjoy.

Will you be picking up a Tegra 3 Android device this year and getting some Sonic the Hedgehog action on?
