New Boost Case Hybrid: Juice Pack Air competition

Now every smartphone user may need an extra bit of battery life at some point when they are out and about, well if you are an owner of the iPhone, during CES 2012, Boostcase announced the availability of a new iPhone case that just might give a little competition to the Juice Pack Air from their Boost Case Hybrid.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, not everyone likes to use an extra battery due to it adding extra weight to the smartphone, and thus the new Boost Case hybrid accessory comes in two parts and is compatible with the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.

The first part being a case that is available in numerous differing colours, and the second part is a snap on battery pack, so whenever you require that extra power boost you simply snap on the battery pack.

The Boost Case Hybrid case itself features a cut out for the iPhone camera along with a pear shaped cut out for the battery attachment, and is of lightweight construction and measures 4.5 x 2.37 x 0.06 inches with a weight of 14 grams.

The detachable extended battery pack is a rechargeable 1900mAh Li-polymer battery, with battery level indictor, and measures 4.8 x 2.37 x 0.68 inches with a weight of 62 grams.

So when not requiring that extra battery you can use the Boost Case Hybrid case part to protect your iOS smartphone by itself, and when needing that extended battery you can just clip it on as long as you carry the battery in your pocket of course.
