Walmart Nokia Lumia 710 price shock

Towards the end of last year, Finnish company Nokia was keen to announce their new Lumia range comprising of the new 800 and 710 models. Steering away from Android and iOS, Nokia’s Lumia smartphone range will consist of the new Windows Mango OS. Concentrating on the smaller of the two the 710, we wanted to update you with news of its price.

Being the first Windows Phone smartphone to arrive in the Big U S of A, the new Nokia Lumia 710 as BGR reported, can be had on carrier T-Mobile for a price of $50. But on holding your breath, retailer Walmart is offering the phone for $0 on a two-year contract.

Specs wise, the new Lumia 710 packs a 3.7-inch ClearBlack display, 1.4GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of memory, 5MP camera, social networking features and so on.

There’s no getting away from the tempting Walmart deal, but if the smaller 710 doesn’t get your vote, then perhaps take a look at the bigger 800 or even larger 4.3-inch 900 that is due to land in the not so distant future.

Tell us what you think about the new Nokia Lumia 710 and if you would be keen to sign up to a two-year Walmart contract?
