Growth at iPhone 5 release hindering quality

Looking more into Apple and its iPhone success has to make you wonder a little more about mass production, iPhone sales have rocketed with over 37 million handsets being sold within the last 3 months. So being a little more insightful what happens when the iPhone 5 release lands, the growth of the iPhone and other Apple products are surely to be at an all time high, this is great for Apple’s profits but also hinders the quality in some people’s opinions. This leaves us with a few questions and a look into the growth at iPhone 5 release hindering quality?

Today we reported that more iPhones are being sold than babies being born each day, figures show that around 402,000 Apple smartphones are being sold each day on a worldwide average, which is staggering. Apple seems to be dominating the market, yes Android phone sales are doing well, but considering we are talking about a single handset rather than Androids multiple carriers such as LG, Samsung, HTC, and Motorola it is doing very well indeed, but Apple need to look at a few factors here according to a few unnamed people who have emailed us.

We looked into this a little more and asked many users a few questions about their iPhone, such as; Do you think Apple are entering the world of mass production? Should Apple look into what can be done to correct known issues first with current models before mass-producing the next handset, known as the iPhone 5?

These questions got a great response, many stood behind Apple and say that the iPhone is the best in the world, some said that they may leave Apple and consider an Android device as they are more stable and have the open source flavour. Many more answers did come in, but we just want to give you an insight.

One reader from our Facebook page said to us:

No wonder so many are having troubles then. Mass production with what appears to be limited care in manufacturing! Am considering flicking the idevices… As are the many I talk to. Apple, you NEED to take note of the faults in your products and how far advanced others are now, and stop bringing out pitiful minor advances just to fatten your wallets.

Please do let us know what you think of the above, do you agree or disagree?

What a non sense! How can a product be sold like a hot cake while it gives more problems to the buyers? This is totally out of any principle of economics or marketing.

Why don’t you just accept Apple’s success at least looking at the staggering numbers. We as readers need factual pictures and comparison, like how many of each other smart phones are sold compared to the iPhone?

I remember reading an article here on your site before 3 months applauding the sales of the Samsung smartphone out numbering that of iPhone. Everyone knows why that has happened. But you do not have the courage to clearly report and witness what happened in the last quarter. You rather preferred to bring this contradictory discussion on the table.

Thanks to other genuine sites like the BBC to give us the real picture of Apples Q4 performance.

This is not good for your site. I am considering to unsubscribe from my fb cause I am not interested on an Android affiliated website.

I disagree with your comment Ashe11hk. You fail to realize is that what’s going on with Apple is somewhat an economic anomaly in that the iphone’s cult status is so enormous that the vast majority of its buyers continue to buy the phone just based on its brand name, regardless of any problems they have with the device. There are CLEARLY more superior alternative phones for people to choose from yet despite that fact they continue to choose iphone. Many argue that it’s ios’s better platform or its app market but both of those reasons are blindly misguiding and simply not true.

How can you say all these millions of people are so stupid to the extent that they throw their money on something while there are much better alternatives out there. I rather believe in numbers and I rather believe that you are such a non sense than think all those millions of people are stupid. Where do you think all this fame of the iPhone came from? Just from nothing? It is not all about specs that matters most in a product, it is all about quality, integration of the features and the overall impression that you get in your hands.

        Try to think better,

I do not know about there clearly being superior phones for everyone out there.  I like the Galaxy Nexus but it is too big to fit in my shirt pocket. (I know crazy, but a primary factor)  The Razor looks nice but I suppose the version of Android that is on it seems rather … blah… and I much prefer the screen on the 4/4s  I like my iPhone 4s, solid, great camera, fantastic jailbreak community.  Sans jailbreak the iPhone is super simple to use and get apps.  Jailbroken it becomes a super tweaker and geek machine.

Google needs to start really pushing the ICS and focusing in on giving Android users the choice to have a very unified user experience as a base.
