Samsung Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070) or SGS3?

The Philippines have just dug up the new upcoming Samsung Galaxy S Advance model number GT-I9070, this handset was just a rumour that has now been made into reality. The strange bit in our eyes, is why has this phone been unearthed before the SGS3?

Samsung are at the confusion stage if you ask us, they need to make their mind up about the Samsung Galaxy S3 before contemplating about releasing the SGSA.

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is now showing up on the Philipino blog Hardwarezone, and they report that this phone features dual-core, Android Gingerbread 2.3.6, which makes the Galaxy S3 more appealing with its apparent Ice Cream Sandwich offering, the Advance also comes with 4-inch (480×800-pixel) display, casing has a slight curvature, 5-megapixel camera with flash and a 1500mAh battery.

No one is sure if the Samsung Galaxy S Advance or Galaxy S3 will make an appearance at MWC 2012, we will have to wait and see.

We know that the Advance is a budget Android phone, but it will be the Samsung Galaxy S3 that will win the hearts of Android users, Samsung should concentrate on the better phone before releasing the cheap phone.

Please let us know what you think, would you prefer the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, or the SGS3?

Check out a couple of the videos below, these cover a hands-on and the second clip shows off graphics and gaming, The GT-I9070 uses dual-core ARMv7 (VFPv3, NEON) CPU and a Mali-400 MP GPU. This video also shows of games like Plants vs Zombies, Need For Speed: Shift, and Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation on the phone.

The specs are of a 2010 flagship phone, now reduced to mid to low end. So what will that make the S3 in 2 years time, mid end? Techis moving too fast. As for which phone I’d rather see at MWC, truth be told I’d rather see this first and wait for Samsung to tweak the S3 to the more efficient 5250 Exynos A15 than the A9 Quad core. I don’t mind seeing the SGSA before the S3 in this case knowing the latter will be improved for a true flagship, plus not forgetting they will unveil the Tab 11.6 with ICS running the 2560×1600 resolution

      hi dice,
I am a in a bit of confusion. I have a galaxy s2 GT-I9100G. I had a problem with its mother board and samsung replaced it. Now when i check the Processor in my phone it shows:dual core armv7 processor (vfpv3,neon)
Whereas i think this shouldnt be the processor used for galaxy s2. I am not sure. Do u have any knowledge on this?
