iPhone 5 persistent 2012 rumours

When Apple’s iPhone 4S was officially announced towards the tail end of 2011, many though disappointed that the fifth generation didn’t arrive, were happy that a newer model was available. This hasn’t stopped Apple fans wanting and hoping to see an iPhone 5 in 2012 and if the persistent news is anything to go by, then there will be plenty of smiling faces, although as to its arrival still remains a mystery.

In terms of its specs, nothing until officially announced is concrete, but the Cali Company really do need to up their game in order to fend off rival competition such as the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S3. So what have we heard so far?

The first we have to mention is that the new Apple is expected to arrive with a 4-inch touchscreen with a possible teardrop design. Other possibilities include the arrival of 3D onto the handset with the phone being waterproofed, removable battery and card slot, NFC, the introduction of a quad-core processor, 4G LTE, improved battery life with the inclusion of face recognition security.

As to its official announcement, the latest is pointing to the month of June when the Cali Company will hopefully put the rumours to bed at the WWDC event.

Let us know what you would like to see from the iPhone 5?
