Galaxy Note vs LG Optimus Vu, could be smaller option

Since the mobile phone arrived in our hand representing the shape and weight of a brick, technology has moved on with phones becoming thinner and lighter whilst at the same time incorporating a different range of features.

Smartphones have evolved with not only the benefit of specs such as 3D technology and being able to pay for purchases using NFC, but phones are now starting to double up as a tablet take the Samsung Galaxy Note, a 5.3-inch displayed device with the use of a Stylus or S-Pen as its also known.

Today our very own James here at Phones Review gave you news that LG have announced the possibility of a new smartphone by the name of the Optimus Vu, with a slightly smaller 5-inch display, 4:3 ratio, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, NFC as we’ve previously mentioned, 1.5GHz processor along with an 8MP camera.

With as Cnet.com reporting, LG keen to point out that the new Vu has been developed to fit perfectly into a user’s hand, we wonder whether this will be an option over the Galaxy Note? With the MWC event in Barcelona due to kick off on the 27th February, we will no doubt make our own minds up which we prefer.

Coincidentally the Note packs a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, LTE, 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, 16GB of memory along with other specs mentioned above.

Let us know if given the choice, which you would prefer?
