Jailbreaking is part and parcel of our everyday lives with more often than not, information being passed around about the latest hack. So big is it that London UK held the very first conference dedicated to those hackers, developers and fans allowing them to join together in holy hack-trimony.

As idownloadblog.com reported, the Chronic Dev Team along with other known speakers were present at the first London conference, but now it seems a new ‘JailbreakCon’ event, as its known in America will be the highlight of 2012.

The new Jailbreak Convention website is now available, with many saying that a bigger World Wide Jailbreak Convention (WWJC) is now a bigger possibility. Interested parties will be keen to learn that California may be this year’s location for the new JailbreakCon with the official website here. Further details can be accessed on the website with news that WWJC goods will be an option to buy.

MyGreatFest event held on September 17th 2011 at the Old Truman Brewery in London was a resounding success with many queuing outside before the event was scheduled to open. Merchandise was given away to fans with the opportunity for everyone to be involved for the same reason.
