HTC One X quad-core phone modelling itself

HTC are in the midst of announcing a new smartphone but we have to say at times its been difficult to keep pace, with news that the device’s name will change along with possible spec variations. Back in 2011, the Edge as it was initially known, was due to surface at the Mobile World Congress, then in the last few weeks, it was known as the Endeavor with a new change to what is hoped to be the last the ‘HTC One X.’

As well as its title, according to pocketnow.com, the new quad core handset looks to have been rejigged in terms of its appearance with the lack of one its capacitive buttons, as well as a thinner but yet smoothed out look.

In terms of its specifications, the new One X is reported to pack a 4.7-inch display with the benefit of 720p video recording, Android’s new Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS, HTC Sense 4.0, 8MP rear camera with the inclusion of a Tegra 3 Nvidia processor. Until officially announced at the upcoming MWC next week, we will have to wait and see what HTC brings us.

Just this morning, we gave you news that rivals Samsung are reported to be announcing a brand new Exynos processor into their devices, a chip that provides faster and better battery performance, so we wonder how HTC will square up to them?

Are you an HTC fan? Does the rumoured One X sound tempting to you?

Yes; I am actually following this “little” device from its “Edge” era and since it’s only two days to go I am very excited about it. This device should be my next, I am currently own a HTC HD2 Leo, which is – at list IMHO – the best device they created yet. 🙂
