Panasonic ELUGA handled on video

If you have been keeping up with all things going on at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona this week you probably know about Panasonic’s new Android Panasonic ELUGA, so what w e have for your viewing consideration below is a nice little hands on video with the Android ELUGA smartphone.

The hands on with the Panasonic ELUGA smartphone comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Engadget who were on hand at MWC 2012 to get some playtime with the new Android handset that delivers roughly a one and a half minute look at the Panasonic ELUGA.

The Panasonic ELUGA smartphone sports a 4.3-inch qHD OLED display and weights in at 103 grams with a nice slim 7.8mm thickness that the guys say feels light in the hand and would make for the prefect grip albeit its sharp edges.

The Android handset is powered by a 1GHz dual core OMAP 4430 processor and although according to earlier reports that the device runs Android ice Cream Sandwich, if you look closely at the specs card in the footage you will note that the device actually runs a skinned version of Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, but one can assume it will gain an update to Android 4.0 at some point.

Anyway as I have no wish to spoil your viewing enjoyment of the hands on with the Panasonic ELUGA I’ll stop right there and let you head on down to mash that play button and enjoy the footage. Are any of our readers hoping to pick up the ELUGA once it becomes available?
