If you are one of the Android faithful over here in the United Kingdom that loves Samsung smartphones and fancy a Sammy smartphone with a built in projector then you just might like to know that as of July you will be able to snap up the Samsung Galaxy Beam in the UK as an unlocked smartphone.

According to the guys over at Slash Gear by way of Gizmo Crave, Sammy has announced they intend on delivering the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Beam to UK customers sometime in July with a price tag of £385 roughly $600.

The Samsung Galaxy Beam is a mid range Android smartphone incorporating a tiny projector recessed into the handsets top and packs a 4-inch touch screen, a 5 megapixel rear facing camera along with a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 8GB of internal memory, 1GHz dual core processor, and that projector has a 15 lumens lamp to deliver an image up to 50-inches, and a 2000mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Beam is an Android Gingerbread handset however Sammy has said that the Galaxy Beam will see an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich soon after the device is released. Samsung has stated that they will partner multiple UK carriers with the Galaxy Beam but haven’t said which ones and of course they didn’t deliver an exact date, just the month of July.
