Samsung Galaxy Note to get Angry Birds Space first

Since the world was first introduced to the highly addictive Angry Birds game back in 2009, we have been treated to a number of different versions of the game along with a variety of toys and accessories. Whether you are becoming tired of the franchise now and moving onto to other games such as Temple Run it is here to stay, and today we have news that the Samsung Galaxy Note is to get Angry Birds Space first.

It seems the latest incarnation of Angry Birds will be launching exclusively on Samsungs Galaxy Note, as an article on Android and Me is reporting that teasers have been put onto both the manufacturers Facebook and YouTube website pages.

When Angry Birds first landed on the Android platform in 2010 developer Rovio did something similar by letting GetJar have early exclusivity to the game. Representatives from the company have also been spotted working at Samsung stands at recent trade shows, which further show the two companies already have a working relationship.

The latest version of the Angry Birds game is due to release later this month on the 22nd, and the company is set to make a global announcement on March 8th at 10a.m EST. Meanwhile owners of the Galaxy Note will be more interested to hear when they will finally get hold of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Previously it has been reported that the smartphone tablet crossover will receive the update by the end of the first quarter, and there is still time for this to happen. Only yesterday we told you about the possibility that the Galaxy S2 will be getting the new software in a couple of weeks, so hopefully the Galaxy Note will also join the Android ICS party around the same time.

Do you still play Angry Birds?
