LG Lucid for Verizon gets detailed

The LG Lucid Android smartphone you might be aware is also known as the LG Cayman, which is expected to be released on Verizon Wireless as of the 29th of this month, and today the LG Lucid gets some if its specifications revealed along with an image of the new Android smartphone, and although the Lucid isn’t a flagship handset from LG it is set to be a decent offering.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo by way of Pocket Now, the LG Lucid specs include a 4-inch WVGA NOVA touch screen with 700 nits brightness, a 5 megapixel rear facing camera, a VGA front facing camera, 1080p video, 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The LG Lucid is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone and currently there is no word on whether the LG Lucid will see an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in future, but the device does pack a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 4G LTE connectivity.

The LG Lucid goes by the model number VS840 and places the device between the V700 LG Enlighten and the VS920 LG Spectrum in the Verizon line up and is said to hit for under the $200 mark.

Hopefully the LG Lucid will pack a battery sufficient to cope with the 4G LTE, but one has to remember none of these specifications have been confirmed as yet so still remain in the rumour category. So does the upper mid-range LG Lucid appear to any of our readers?
