If you are a sports fan in the UK and have a particular match you’d love to see, but can’t make it to the actual game you can of course always head on down to the pub or sports bar to watch the match on a big screen, but you’ll need to know which pubs and sports bars are showing that match. Well if you own an iOS device there is now an app that can find that info for you, called MatchPint.

The MatchPint app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple iPad allows the user to see which pubs and sports bars in London and across the United Kingdom will be showing a particular fixture in the coming weeks, and helps sports fans locate a venue that is showing the specific game they are looking for.

With the MatchPint app for iOS devices the user will be able to discover sports pubs that show live Premier League football on Sky Sports, and ESPN along with being able to search pubs and sports bars that show Formula 1, Boxing, Cricket, Tennis, Rugby and more.

The MatchPint also offers sports fans the ability to view individual pub profiles to find out how many screens a particular pub has or whether they are in HD or 3D along with viewing descriptions and photos, and there is an option to use ‘my location,’ so you can find out which pubs and sports bars are closest to you and showing the game you are looking for.
