New iPad offering with attractive Orange plans

If you’re a fan of Apple products, and let’s face it many of us are, then you will already know that the new iPad is released today, March 16. If you’re in the U.K. you maybe interested to learn that Orange will be offering the new iPad from today with attractive data plans available and its 3G and 3.5G networks giving faster speeds than those previously available.

The new iPad (previously dubbed the iPad 3) is already receiving rave reviews and this latest Apple device is set to continue Apple’s dominance in the tablet world. Just some of the key features and specs of the new iPad include the A5X processor with quad-core graphics and an impressive 5-megapixel iSight camera with autofocus, face detection, backside illuminated sensor and 1080p HD video capture. There’s also a front-facing shooter, an improved battery from that of the iPad 2 giving around 10 hours of juice and one of the features that has made the biggest impact is the new Retina Display giving a stunning resolution of 2048×1536.

The new iPad is also world-ready allowing travellers to connect to fast networks wherever they are. Everything Everywhere consumer chief marketing officer Pippa Dunn said, “New iPad customers will benefit from the widest 3G coverage in the UK and, with our advanced 3.5G roll out, they will also benefit from a really fast network.” Orange customers can buy the new iPad from March 16 at Orange shops, telesales and online.

For example if you want the 16GB version the upfront cost for existing customers is $199 or for new customers is $229 and you then need to add on a 24-month plan costing from $25 a month. The $25 monthly plan will give you 1GB of anytime data and 1GB of Quiet Time data (midnight to 4am) as well as unlimited BT Openzone WiFi.
