Zedge app for Android with free ringtones and wallpapers

We know how many of our readers enjoy news of apps available for their mobile devices and today we have news of a great personalization app for the Android platform. The Zedge Ringtones and Wallpapers App is a free app and as you would expect, offers free ringtones and wallpapers and also notification sounds.

The current version is for Android devices running Android 2.0 or later and the Zedge name will be well-known and trusted by many of you as it’s hugely popular and used by more than 40 million people every month. Zedge has a wide range and diverse choice of wallpapers and ringtones and among them we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to find exactly the type you’re looking for.

The Zedge Ringtones and Wallpapers app for Android will give you access to HD wallpapers and high quality ringtones and notification sounds optimized for your own device. Features include being able to set any of the above directly through the app, the support of all kinds of notifications including default ringtone, contact ringtone and more and being able to manage and synchronize downloaded items. There’s also a setting to automatically change wallpapers, a widget for switching wallpapers and you can also live sync to your online favorites.

The latest version 2.8 that is now available includes an added ActionBar for 3.0 Honeycomb or 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Android devices, updated graphics for high-resolution devices and improved caching.
