Buy Panasonic Eluga dL1 via Expansys UK

If you happen to still be in the market for a new Android Gingerbread smartphone here in the United Kingdom, and a smartphone that comes unlocked and SIM free, you just might like to know that the Panasonic Eluga dL1 Android smartphone is now available in the UK, a week earlier than thought.

According to the guys over at Unwired View, the Panasonic Eluga dL1 handset is being offered by online retailer Expansys, and the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset commands a price tag of £364.99 unlocked and SIM free, with Expansys saying they can have the handset with you within five days.

However if you do wish to purchase the Panasonic Eluga dL1handset from Expansys, you can only get the device in silver at the moment, so if you prefer the Eluga dL1 in black then you can pre-order the handset, but there is currently no availability date shown.

For those that might be interested in picking up the Panasonic Eluiga dL1, the handset offers a 4.3-inch qHD touch screen, a 1GHz dual core processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera, is dust proof and waterproof, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system out of the box, however it has been promised that the Panasonic Eluga dL1 will see an update to Android Ice Cream Sandwich as some point in the future although currently there is no word on just when that will happen.

So there you go, if you do wish to snap up the Panasonic Eluga dL1 unlocked and SIM free you can do so as of right now, will you be getting this new smartphone?

  1. But be aware that Panasonic UK have announced that they will not honour the warranties on these grey imports. The company said, “The Panasonic Eluga is not officially available in the UK until June and any Eluga purchased through French site Expansys before then will not be covered by our warranty.”

Oh man that’s tough. I have my heart set on this phone and this may be a deal breaker. I have bought all my smartphone through various sites online so i would envisage having no problems with it
