The Witcher 2 guide and Interactive Comic Book

If you’re a gaming enthusiast you may well be a fan of The Witcher third-person role-playing games. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has just been released for the Xbox 360 and we thought we’d bring you details of apps for The Witcher 2, one a guide and one an interactive comic book.

Firstly there’s an app that bills itself the Best Guide for The Witcher 2. This is a free Android app for devices running Android 1.6 or later and hopefully will give you plenty of information to help you out when playing the game. It’s available from this Google Play link and a caution reads ‘REAL GAME NOT INCLUDED’ but we reckon you’ll have worked that out for yourselves.

The Best Guide for the Witcher 2 does do exactly what its title says though, offering cheats, tips and all the details you need to make the most of playing the actual game. Users can select and copy the cheats into Notes if required or also Email them to themselves and at present this app has reached a user rating of 3.7.

The next app is for the iOS platform and is The Witcher 2 Interactive Comic Book. This is from CD Projekt RED S.A. developers and is for iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 4.3 or later. Guidance says you must be at least 17 years old to download this app and as you’d expect from the title it offers an Interactive Comic Book experience. You can download from this iTunes link here.

This app recommends that you read the story and experience the world of Geralt of Rivia, cast magic signs, battle monsters and gain experience of The Witcher’s world, all before you begin playing the actual game, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. Version 1.0.1. also offers optimization and bug fixes and you can see some screenshots from this app below our story.

Are you an enthusiast of The Witcher experiences? If so will you be using either of these apps for The Witcher 2? Maybe you have already tried either or both and could share with our readers what you think of these two apps? Let us know by sending your comments.
