Enticing Nova 3 FPS mobile gameplay and details

The days of mobile phone users being restricted to games such as Snake are long gone as now gaming fans are treated to some stunning titles to play while on the go, and today we have news of some enticing Nova 3 FPS mobile gameplay and details.

Droid Life are reporting that Gameloft have teased N.O.V.A 3 the latest title in the first person shooter series, and the new title takes players to the streets of Earth in a game that has improved graphics with faster gameplay and more enemies, and the title is set for release sometime this month.

Meanwhile IGN are wondering if the upcoming game is the best looking title available for smartphone users after spending some time with it. The game begins with a crash landing on ‘Old Earth’ in the middle of a ruined San Francisco, where aliens have the human race on the ropes and it is up to wardin to help save the day.

The game has ten missions lasting between 30 and 60 minutes as players use an armoury of weapons that includes the likes of a grenade launcher, shotgun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, and in later missions players even get to take control of a jeep. The game will also see the return of Wardin’s special powers that are great when used with the right weapon.

For those that have already played other titles in the franchise the controls will be familiar with the developer doing as much as possible to utilize the touchscreen interface. The multiplayer element of the game is mostly unknown at present, but Gameloft has revealed that online multiplayer will support up to twelve players.

Even in its unfinished state N.O.V.A 3 impressed after more than an hour of playing the game, but the virtual thumb sticks can be a bit tiring. While the game’s availability has been tipped for May no information has been revealed regarding pricing, but expect it to be somewhere between $5 and $10.
