Verizon Droid Does campaign reborn with 4, Razr & Maxx

The Verizon Droid Does campaign kicked off way back in 2009 with the original Motorola Droid smartphone in the good old US of A as most of the Android Droid faithful will remember, and the campaign continued with such devices as the HTC Droid Incredible, but as soon as the Big Red began offering the iPhone 4, the Droid Does campaign seemed to vanish.

However, according to the guys over at Android Community, by way of Droid-life, old Verizon has now brought back the Droid Does campaign by releasing a new Droid Does More commercial that touts the Motorola Droid 4, the Motorola Droid RAZR and the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX.

And of course we have that Droid Does More Verizon commercial for your viewing consideration below, although this time round the voice-over in the footage seems somewhat more subdued in the approach, and less combative, and is basically a gentle, positive explanation of the devices features.

But why this new soft approach with Droid devices from the Big Red? Well perhaps Verizon doesn’t want to rock the boat too much by drawing too much attention from the Verizon iPhone devices in their line up…who knows.

Anyway, it would appear that Verizon has gone a tad soft when touting their Droid gear in this latest Droid Does campaign, but I’ll simply let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the commercial to make up your own mind, but do you think the Big Red could have been a bit more forceful with this latest campaign…enjoy.

Prepping the market for  these phone with  the ICS update that will allow them to squeeze another couple of months of sales before the new big hitters roll out in the summer.  Smart move.
