New Emoji, iTV Shows 2 & Highway Rider iOS apps

We here at Phones Review are always on the lookout for new apps, and today we have found three iOS applications worth thinking about. It’s always good to take a look at some of the latest apps out there and hopefully among these 3 suggestions you’ll find something that might interest you.

The first of these new apps is All New Emoji, a free app compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. If you’re a fan of Emoji icons then you’ll be happy with this latest app with over 100 brand-new ones available. The new Emoji cartoon images will bring you messages and features naughty cat, dog, rabbit, pear and carrot-like hare. Use them anywhere where you type text such as SMS messages, emails, websites and more. These icons are creative and well-designed and are a great way of showing friends and family how you’re feeling and adding that special touch.

The next app we want to highlight is something completely different and is iTV Shows 2. This one is priced at $2.99 and is compatible with iOS devices running iOS 5.0 or later. It’s a good way of following your favorite TV shows on your iPhone or iPad. Features include two databases, iCloud synchronization, notifications so you don’t miss new episodes, the ability to find new shows using Genius, episode previews and iTune links. Users can also share instantly to Twitter, Facebook and Mail and have offline access plus there’s timezone correction and it’s optimized for the Retina Display of the iPhone and iPad. Languages supported are English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

So after a lifestyle and then an entertainment app, our final choice is for those who enjoy gaming on their mobile devices. Highway Rider is a new iOS app from Battery Acid Games and this one is a free app. It’s rated 12+ and is compatible for various iOS devices (see link for details) running iOS 3.1.3 or later. As you might imagine from the title the game involves riding a motorcycle down the highway and trying to avoid crashing. The closer you drive to other vehicles the higher your score is and the more your speed increases. You can try out your riding skills head to head and even collect pictures of your accidents as well as customize your own rider. This is a simple idea that could provide hours of amusement so you may want to check it out.

If you want to download any of these apps then simply hit the title links to go straight to the App Store. If you choose to try out any of these new iOS apps then let us know your thoughts on them and whether you’d recommend them, or not, to other readers.
