Asus PadFone unboxed on video

Asus has seen a fair bit of success in the past with the Asus Transformer and Transformer Prime tablets, and now their smartphone/tablet combo, the Asus PadFone has now become available over in Taiwan. So what we have for your viewing consideration below is an unboxing of the Asus PadFone, which includes the smartphone, the tablet, the keyboard dock.

The Asus PadFone unboxing video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Netbook News, who managed to get hold of the PadFone and accessories and put them through a traditional unboxing, in fact the guys actually purchased the whole shebang on a two-year contract so they could have a play with the device.

I’m sure most know that the PadFone has a 10-inch tablet that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone docks into, and the keyboard also can dock with the tablet to turn the device into a netbook.

Spec wise the Asus PadFone smartphone offers a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing camera, a VGA front facing camera, a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, an Adreno 225 GPU, HDMI out, HSPA+, A-GPS, a 1520mAh battery and Android 4.0.

When it comes to the PadFone tablet station, the slate has a 10-inch touch with a 1280 x 800 resolution, and has a compartment in the back that fully houses the smartphone with a cut-out for the 8 megapixel camera, and also runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Anyway, enough from me, so I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to hit that play button to check out this unboxing of the Asus PadFone…enjoy.
