If you are over in the good old US of A and have place a pre-order for the LG Optimus Elite smartphone on Virgin Mobile, you are no doubt waiting on the handset arriving at your door. However if you decided not to pre-order the Android handset and wait for it to become available , well you can now go buy the Virgin Mobile Optimus Elite.

According to the guys over at Engadget, Virgin Mobile USA has now made the LG Optimus Elite available to purchase via their website commanding a price tag of $149.99 off contract and in Titan Silver.

The Virgin Mobile LG Optimus Elite is on the firm’s Beyond Talk plan that delivers unlimited massaging and data starting at $35 per month, and is Virgin Mobile USA’s first device to come with Google Wallet and NFC functionality.

For those that might be considering purchasing the LG Optimus Elite, the smartphone offers a 3.2-inch HVGA touch screen along with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 512MB RAM, 4GB of storage, an 800MHz processor and microSD expansion up to 32GB, and runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The vice president of Virgin Mobile USA, Jeff Auman has said that the LG Optimus Elite offers full integration of social networking apps along with advanced messaging capabilities, Microsoft Outlook Exchange email, and combined with the Beyond Talk plan customers can gain real savings with no contract and no surprises.

Customers that purchase the LG Optimus Elite can also download Box and receive 50GB of free could storage and sharing2 directly from LG, which has an estimated value of $240 a year.
