4G LTE not just for mobile, welcome Verizon HomeFusion
The big thing in the mobile space is of course 4G LTE, but apparently 4G LTE isn’t just for mobile devices, as over in the good old US of A, Verizon wants to bring their 4G LTE network into the home, and as such has launched their HomeFusion service.
According to the guys over at Zdnet, the Big Red’s HomeFusion brings the speed of Verizon’s 4G LTE network into the home, by way of an antenna on your house and a wireless router to deliver access to the Internet over 4G LTE.
Verizon’s HomeFusion service offers a tiered service of data caps based on a monthly fee, which are 10GB for $60 per month, 20GB for $90 a month and 30GB for $120 a month, although if you are a heavy user the overage fee is quite steep at 10-bucks per GB over the monthly agreed limit.
The HomeFusion service costs $199 for the equipment including installation, and also requires you sign up to a two-year term that is similar to the Big Red’ wireless data plans. The HomeFusion service has since March been tested in 6 markets, and is available in all Verizon stores nationwide this week.
4G LTE networks are the fastest one can get in the mobile space, and this new service brings that speedy 4G LTE connectivity into the home in a single plan, albeit a somewhat pricey one, so what do our US readers think about HomeFusion, is it something that you would use?

Me having to pay attention to how much data I was using.
On a mobile device that was ok. But at home who the heck
Wants to be limited to how much data they can stream.
