Droid Razr officially shown with Android 4.0 ICS delights

The Motorola Droid RAZR has been a hugely popular phone but the long wait for the update to the latest Android operating system, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, is beginning to frustrate some owners. Indeed it’s not just RAZR owners still waiting for the ICS update but while the wait goes on we do at least have news of some videos that have come to light showing 4.0 ICS in action on the Droid RAZR.

We’ve been bringing readers all the news on the latest information issued about ICS updates from various manufacturers and carriers. In a recent Verizon roundup we gave the latest timeframe for the ICS update for the Droid RAZR as still due in Q2 so hopefully it won’t be too much longer. The video that you can see below this story gives an idea of what the RAZR with Ice Cream Sandwich will look like and how to navigate around it and is one of a series of available videos.

The videos were brought to our attention by Endadget and while there have been previous leaked looks of ICS on Motorola devices, the video below is just one of 9 official demos on the Motorola Japan website all using the Droid RAZR. Other videos show the browser, Webtop 3.0, camera, the new lock screen, screenshots, a time lapse video, dialer, notifications and more. You can see every one of the videos at this Motorola Japan link but bear in mind, as you would expect, most of the audios are in Japanese.

From what we can see it looks as though Motorola has done a pretty decent job so why not take a look at the video below and tell us what you think. Are you a Droid RAZR owner avidly waiting for the Android 4.0 ICS update? From what you can see do you approve of what’s on your way? Let us know with your comments.
