Beautiful HTC One XXL concept to take on Galaxy Note

Quite often with many forms of technology clever designers come up with some stunning concept ideas especially for smartphones and cars, and today we have the beautiful HTC One XXL concept for you that could quite easily take on the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Samsung has had quite a success with the Galaxy Note since it was released with millions of consumers making the device their smartphone of choice, and while Samsung and HTC battle it out for Android supremacy, an article over at Android Pit has a HTC concept of what the company’s answer to the Note could look like.

It has been designed by a talented artist going by the name of, Hasan Kaymak, and by just looking at some of the images of the handset it would certainly gain many fans if any such device were to be released. The handset that has been designed features a 5.4 inch Full HD display and packing 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on board storage.

Other features in the design specifications include a Nvidia Penta core processor, microSD card slot, a 2,750 mAh Li-Ion battery unit that also features wireless charging, and the device would be running the yet to be announced Android Jellybean operating system paired with the HTC Sense 4.0 Android overlay.

Of course these amazing sounding specs are only for a concept smartphone, but most of the technology already exists, and the artist has also added the feature of users being able to slide left to right along the bottom buttons to access the app drawer, which would be a nice feature to have.

While this is only a concept idea it’s surprising that other manufacturers haven’t jumped on the idea of having a smartphone/tablet crossover like the Samsung Galaxy Note. Hit the link above to see some more images of the HTC One XXL, and tell us what you think of it in the comments section below.

I am a Galaxy Note user, coming from HTC HD2 (and previous HTC models). I too wuld love a 5+inch Android phone from HTC as I would have stuck with HTC where it not for the large display of the GNote.

Perhaps it would be more accurate to ask why it has been such a long time since HTC last made a smartphone/tablet. Anyone remember the 2008 HTC Shift,?
