One Cent Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus via Amazon Wireless

When new smartphones are released early adopters to the hardware don’t mind paying the full price for the handset, which can quite often run into hundreds of dollars, but today we can tell you about the one Cent Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus via Amazon Wireless.

At the moment you can get one of the best Android smartphones currently available for virtually nothing as long as you are willing to sign up for two years to Verizon Wireless. The latest Google Nexus smartphone was provided by Samsung and when the device went on sale at the end of last year it debuted the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which is yet to arrive on a number of high end smartphones on the platform.

Only a short time ago the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was being offered by the company for $299.99 with a new two year contract, so this offer is likely to annoy subscribers that signed up at that price. To recap the handset comes with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, and the handset comes with 3G and 4G LTE connectivity.

There is also a five megapixel camera that has zero shutter lag and offers Full HD 1080p video capture, while around the front is a 1.3 megapixel camera for making video calls, and there is also 32GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM.

The carrier has recently put up the Samsung Galaxy S3 for pre-order with shipments due to start around July 9th, so it’s not surprising that Amazon Wireless is looking to shift a few Galaxy Nexus’s in the meantime. You will need a new Verizon account to get the device for one Cent or if you are adding a new line to a family account.
