Galileo for iPhone robotic dock up for pre-order

If you are a frequent reader of our articles you may remember our post about a Kickstarter project called Galileo, an iOS controlled robotic dock/platform/mount that features an infinite spherical rotation capability. Well it appears that the Galileo managed to scoop seven times its funding goal of $100,000, and as such has now gone into mass production.

Thus according to the guys over at Phone Arena, the Galileo for iOS devices is now available for pre-order from Motrr; however when the iOS accessory was a Kickstarter project a pledge of $85 would get you the device along with free shipping, but it appears the price has now been hiked up after going into mass production and now costs 130-bucks.

However, if you really want to own the Galileo for the iPhone, Motrr is running a promo price that saves you 10 percent when placing your pre-order, so you get the device for $116.99, which is available in both black and white and comes with USB cable and instruction manual.

The Galileo delivers endless possibilities of remote control motion, and is capable of infinite 360 degree pan and tilt at speeds of up to 200 degrees per second in any orientation and is great for video conferencing, baby monitoring, remote learning, cinematography, time-lapse photography, and real estate photography, and can be remotely controlled via the iPhone, Apple iPad or web browser, has a standard tripod screw, rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery.

Size wise the Galileo for iPhone is 2-inches high and 3.25-inches around and weighs in at just 7-ounces, and just so you can check out whether the Galileo is the accessory for you before shooting off to place that pre-order, we have the promo video for your viewing consideration below as a reminder of what the accessory is all about.
