In recent times we have become used to upcoming smartphones being leaked in one form or another, but today we have news of the Nokia Reaction Bluetooth headset being leaked with a video as well before any official announcement.
The company has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons so far today, but now we have news of the Reaction Bluetooth headset from the Finnish company, which according to TNW has three built in microphones, and an auto call pick up among its range of acoustic features. So far there has been no official word on the headset but Nokia has posted a video that you can see below, which goes into the new devices functions and user experience.
It seems Nokia has found a way to help make it easier to set up and using other headsets with a smartphone, as the device connects via NFC with compatible handsets, and will also automatically answer incoming calls when placed to the user’s ear.
Bluetooth headsets can often have a problem with regards to volume of the accessory, but the Nokia Reaction features three integrated microphones, and a background noise reducer and automatic volume control will according to the company does away with the need for the user to talk more loudly, or listen more closely when in use.
Nokia’s AlwaysReady technology will also make call handover easier as the device will automatically switch a call between the handset to the headset, which means to continue a call a users has to simply place the headset in their ear. This can be a problem with some other headsets as users will need to go through a number of steps before continuing a call.
The manufacturer revealed its first NFC compatible device back in April with the Lumia 610, but the Nokia Reaction headset offers regular Bluetooth based access as well. A product page is supposed to be located here, but currently at the time of writing there is nothing available. Expect the Nokia Reaction headset to be officially announced by the company soon.
