Samsung Galaxy Note 2 may release with flexible display
Samsung has had quite a success on its hands with its Galaxy range of smartphones, which has seen the company start to provide some serious competition to Apple and its iPhone. One of the biggest successes for Samsung has been the Galaxy Note and now thoughts are turning to its replacement, which is now rumoured to be coming with a flexible display.
The original Samsung Galaxy Note has averaged around a million sales each month the device has been available, and has now gained a strong following with its many users saying how much they love the handset. It has been claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be released sometime during the fall, possibly October, and now according to an article over at Android Guys the Galaxy Note 2 may feature a flexible display.
The device is also being tipped to feature a twelve megapixel rear camera, but sources are claiming that the handset will be the first device from Samsung to have a flexible LED display, which is thought to be around 5.4 or 5.5-inches. The Galaxy Note 2 may also come rocking the next version of the Android operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and if true will be the first batch of new hardware from the company to feature the new Android software.
As usual this information has to be taken with a piece of salt, but Samsung revealed its flexible displays at CES, and the company also revealed that they would be releasing a smartphone with the technology for the first time this year, but whether that will be the Galaxy Note 2 remains to be seen.
The device is already rumoured to feature a quad core processor in the form of the Exynos 5250 from Samsung, but having a flexible display would be a great selling point for the device. Would you like to see a flexible display on the Galaxy Note 2?

Quad Core isn’t yet suited to the 5250 exynos, don’t know where you’re getting your info from but that’s wrong. should be dual core processor clocked around 2ghz. I think you meant Exynos 5450 Quad, which will or won’t be on the Galaxy S IV, running on ARM’s Mali T658 series come 2013.
samsung is too smart to take such a big chance on an already best selling product….. any flexible display phone will be a completley new product
I hope they patent like no ones business down to the way its made and installed. So that Apple cant say they own it. Apple is like the spoiled brat on the play ground that wants everythimg.
The 5250 is not quad core. It’s a dual core proc based on the Cortex A15 architecture.Â

If it’s flexible, I’m buying. If it’s just “unbreakable” as other sources gave reported the next Note would be, then no thanks.
