16GB Samsung Galaxy S3 only available on Sprint

Over in the good old US of A, if your preferred carrier happens to be Sprint, and you are in the market for the latest Android ICS smartphone from the Samsung camp to hit the Now Network. You might like to know that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available to purchase from Sprint.

According to the guys over at Engadget, Sprint is offering the 16GB and 32GB Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone on their Now Network online and through telesales commanding a price tag of 200-bucks for the 16GB SGS3 and 250-bucks for the 32GB version.

However, it appears that for now, those Android customers that want the Sprint version of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone can only purchase the 16GB Galaxy S3, as word is Sprint retail stores wont have the 32GB model on hand at the moment, so for now anyway you can only grab the smaller capacity handset.

Spec reminder for those that may have forgotten due to all the commotion about the banning of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and Jelly Bean coverage, the Samsung Galaxy S3 offers a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, 1080p video, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1.5GHz dual core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and of course Android ICS OS, and a 2100mAh battery.

So there you go, if you are a Sprint customer that is after the Samsung Galaxy S3, as long as it is the 16GB model, you can now go grab it. Will you purchase the 16GB Galaxy S3 from Sprint, or wait until the 32GB version becomes available?
