HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE release date and price outed at last

When Verizon and HTC first revealed the Droid Incredible 4G LTE back in May, the two companies revealed that the new smartphone would be released in the coming weeks, but finally the release date and pricing has been outed for the handset.

Only last week HTC in the US suggested that some exciting news was coming this week, and today as Pocket Now are reporting in an article Verizon has confirmed the release date and pricing for the handset. As a recent leaked document suggested the Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be available in three day’s time on the 5th.

The handset will also cost consumers $150 after a $50 mail-in rebate when agreeing to a new two year Verizon Wireless contract. This new smartphone is the successor to the original Incredible and the Incredible 2, which were well received by owners and critics alike.

Those of you planning on getting the Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be treated to a handset that features a 4-inch Super LCD qHD touchscreen, which is powered by a Snapdragon S4 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It also has 1GB of RAM with 8GB of on board storage that can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card.

Camera wise it features an eight megapixel unit on the back while around the front there is a 1.3 megapixel shooter for video chat. The smartphone will come running the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system straight from the box, and there is also Beats Audio technology built in.

Some will be disappointed that the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE requires a mail in rebate, but the device is a great option for Android fans wanting a worthy mid-range smartphone, and when compared to the One series it slips in between the One S and One V in screen size and processing power.

Are you getting the Droid Incredible 4G LTE later this week?

I missed the “Incredible” part, what makes it so special? My old Galaxy Note has way more bragging rights then what is listed above, included 286ppi display and those blazing fast Central Florida AT&T LTE Download speeds right at 50mbps.
