Atrix HD for AT&T pops up on Motorola with specs

Looks like over in the good old US of A there will be a new Android ICS smartphone making an appearance in the not too distant future from the Motorola camp, as a landing page has now surfaced over at Motorola touting the Motorola Atrix HD smartphone, which looks to be destined for the AT&T network.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the Motorola landing page shows that Motorola Atrix HD appears to be heading for AT&T at some point in the future based on the image sporting the AT&T logo, and the page offers some specs of the handset.

Those Motorola Atrix HD specs include a 4.5-inch HD ColorBoost LCD touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB, GPS, and a 3.5mm jack.

The Motorola Atrix HD measures 133.5 x 69.9 x 8.4mm and weighs 140 grams with a 1780mAh Li-ion polymer battery, runs the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, has Corning Gorilla glass tech for the display panel whilst the battery cover has a carbon touch, and the handset is splash resistant both inside and out.

Obviously the only thing the landing pages doesn’t reveal is just when we are likely to see the Motorola Atrix HD hit the mobile space, and of course how much the Android smartphone will hit the pocket for.

So, any of our US readers tempted by what the Motorola Atrix HD has to offer, and if so will you be signing up for notifications as to when the handset will become available?
