Samsung Galaxy Note 2 August unveiling at IFA in Germany

If you simply love owning the Samsung Galaxy Note then you might want to own the next Galaxy Note from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which is said to be releasing sometime in October. However the word is Sammy will unveil the Galaxy Note 2 next month in Germany.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo by way of Pandroid, the guys at MK News are reporting that a source ‘familiar with the matter,’ unnamed of course, has stated that although the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is still on schedule for that October launch, the Note 2 will be unveiled by Samsung late August during the IFA 2012 event in Berlin.

The article also makes mention that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will not come with Samsung’s unbreakable Pan display tech, but will sport a 5.5-inch display, along with a quad core processor, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, and feature a 12 or 13 megapixel camera as old Sammy hasn’t quite made up their mind on that one.

Other than that, no other details where mentioned, but if the rumour turns out to be spot on and Samsung does unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 at the IFA 2012 consumer electronics show in Berlin, it will only be a short time before we learn more about the device.

If they can launch this one like the Galaxy S3 on all US carriers at the same time then that will be heaven for all us android fans.

The only state of the art Exynos Quad Core is the Exynos 5450.

    Exynos 5450: 32/28 nm, 2.0 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU, ARM Mali-T658 GPU

The T658 is a second generation Midgard implementation with twice the arithmetic pipes per core compared to the T604. ARM also enables up to 8-core configurations with T658.

ARM is promising up to a 10x increase in performance compared to “mainstream” Mali-400 implementations.

The Mali-400 has the shader compute power of a PowerVR SGX 543. In other words, half the compute horsepower of the iPad 2’s GPU or over twice the compute of any smartphone GPU today.

    You do the maths!

This monster will signal the beginning of a new dawn for Smartphones. The 5.5″ Quad A15 2 GHz Cores with multi multi GPU cores SUPERPHONE.

Damn exciting times ahead with the Samsung Note 2.
