Pink Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T only from July 15th
The Nokia Lumia 900 has been a bit hit since it was released in the U.S. on AT&T. Despite some initial data connectivity problems that Nokia swiftly dealt with in a major public relations coup, many people fell in love with the sleek and distinctive Lumia 900, giving a boost to smartphones running on the Windows Phone OS. Now we have news that from July 15th, a pink Nokia Lumia 900 will also be available from AT&T.
Strangely enough way back in April we told of rumors that a magenta-colored Lumia 900 may be heading to AT&T but then all went quiet. Now though, Nokia has confirmed that from this Sunday buyers in AT&T stores can order the pink Lumia 900 or it will be available to order at ATT.com. The specs of the Lumia 900 may not be overwhelming but are certainly decent enough but it’s the styling of this elegant handset that has earned high praise and previously it has been available in black, white or cyan color options. We imagine that a new pink option will be a welcome addition for many people.
An important thing to point out about the pink Lumia 900 is that this is not just an external paint job as the handset is made from polycarbonate, a unibody construction that means the pink goes all the way through. Hence any odd scratches you may pick up will hardly show. A few quick details for you on specs and features in case you’re tempted to purchase this pink phone are a 1.4GHz single-core processor, 4.3-inch AMOLED display with resolution of 480 x 800, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens and HD video capture and 1-megapixel front-facing VGA shooter.
There’s also Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 1830mAh battery and it runs on Windows Phone 7.5. Over 100,000 apps are now available for the Nokia Lumia 900 including favorites such as Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive, ESPN and Camera Extras.
