ChargeCard for iPhone, a wallet sized charger

As most would probably agree, carrying your charger around with you so you can always charge up your smartphone can be a bit of a pain, but what if there was a smartphone charger that you could slip inside your wallet? Well what we have for our readers consideration today is a Kickstarter project called ChargeCard for the iPhone.

The ChargeCard project is brought to our attention by iDownload Blog, where inventors Adam Miller and Noah Dentzel have come up with a pretty neat solution to having to carry around the iPhone cable, as the ChargeCard is an iPhone USB cable thin enough to slip into your wallet or purse.

The compact ChargeCard for iPhone works the same as an average 30-pin USB cable and will charge your iPhone along with transferring data, and is only 2.54mm thick and manufactured in ultra durable ABS plastic, has a fold out arm made of thermoplastic elastomer, whilst laying claim to be the slimmest charging and data cable for the iOS smartphone.

Furthermore the ChargeCard’s iPhone port protrudes far enough so that the device can be used with large iPhone cases such as OtterBox, and once funded will become available in black, white, and teal/brown.

Currently the ChargeCard for iPhone project is looking for a funding goal of $50,000, and thus far has garnered $29,890 in pledges with 38 days to run. We of course have a video below for your viewing consideration that shows off the CargeCard for iPhone.

So head on down and hit that play button to check it out, and if you think the Chargecard is something of interest you can of course make a pledge to the project by hitting up Kickstarter.
