Verizon Pantech Marauder unboxed on video

If you are over in the USA and your carrier of choice is the Big Red, and you have been contemplating picking up the new Pantech Marauder smartphone which is available from Verizon, but can’t make up your mind whether the Marauder is for you, perhaps a traditional unboxing of the device will go some way in helping you make that decision.

The unboxing of the Pantach Marauder footage comes our way courtesy of Sydney over at Phone Dog, who unboxes the Android smartphone and delivers her first impressions of the handset in this ten and a half minute video.

Sydney says that it is a pretty sweet deal considering the Pantach Marauder is available for just 50-bucks on contract, and could be a great option for the Android faithful that are budget conscious.

The Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset sports a 3.8-inch WVGA touch screen along with a slide out physical QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera, 720p video, a VGA front facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, a 1.2GHz dual core processor, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 4G LTE connectivity, microSD expansion up to 32GB, and a 3.5mm jack.

And the unique thing with the Verizon Pantech Marauder is the device is loaded with two modes, Starter Mode or Standard Mode, with Starter Mode offering a simplified more intuitive experience, whilst Standard Mode offers the general smartphone settings for the more experienced Android user.

Anyway enough of me, I’ll let you head on down to check out that unboxing and first impressions footage so you can make up your own mind on the Pantech Marauder…enjoy.
