Oppo Find5 X909 quad-core Android Jelly Bean powerhouse phone

In the mobile space there always seems to be a continuing battle at just who can deliver the slimmest smartphone in the world, and a new Android smartphone has now been discovered that doesn’t actually lay claim to being the world’s slimmest smartphone, but rather lays claim to being the slimmest Android quad core smartphone, and that smartphone is called the Find5 X909, and is manufactured by Chinese handset maker Oppo.

You might have already heard of Oppo, as a couple of months back we posted an article on the Oppo Finder smartphone, which was touted as the world’s slimmest handset at just 6.65mm thick, and now according to an article over on Android Authority, by way of IT168, we gain some details on the Oppo Find5 X909.

Those details include a 4.5-inch full HD touch screen , 12 megapixel rear facing camera, a 2 megapixel front facing camera, a Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB on board memory, and a 2500mAh battery.

The other big deal with the Oppo Find5 X909 is that the quad core smartphone is said to be running the latest Android operating system, Android Jelly Bean. However one has to realise that the above is only rumour for now as Oppo hasn’t actually confirmed the specifications for the Find5 X909.

Obviously at this stage in the game, there is no word on just when the Oppo Find5 X909 is likely to be release in China, how much the handset will cost, or if the device will ever see the outside of China.

One other thing though, the article, although stating the Oppo Find5 X909 is the thinnest Android quad core handset around, it doesn’t actually say how slim the device actually is, but according to Unwired View the handset is just 6.9mm thick.
